Phase 1 consisted of roadway excavation and grading to widen Hwy 89 to mile post 496-497. In this section of road we did a widening placing granular borrow with roadbase 1100 Ft of 15″ drain line and installed 900 ft of curb & gutter, asphalt pavement, installed guardrail and new 4500 LF of new fence. Phase 1 completed the new brake check area for large trucks to pull-over and check their brakes. Phase 2 widening is for an intersection with turns lanes for traffic coming out of the Shundahai Development. This phase is scheduled to be completed by October 15, 2023.
